NF Communications is a design, manufacturing and consulting engineering company with expertise in both software and hardware design. We primarily work for and with the electronics and telecommunications industry but also supply products to small-scale businesses and home offices. Our History
Our first project was an ISDN PC terminal card that was developed at a time when there was little equipment available to provide fast data communications, economically, across a large geographical area. We designed a PC based ISDN terminal card for the Australian Post Office for its "giroPost" WAN network. These ISDN PC cards were placed in the back office PC of virtually every Post Office in Australia, and provided the means to link city and remote Post Offices into Australia Post's communications network. We are currently moving to enhance the design of our high functionality electronic Video Scoreboard system. For over 30 years we’ve managed to meet our clients needs and hope to continue to always exceed your expectations for professional service.
Our Designs
We’ve lent our expertise and design services to many companies, and have created and manufactured ISDN Protocol Converters, PABX systems with Voice over IP (VoIP) capability, analogue hands free telephones, door stations and many other innovative products for our commercial and industrial clientele. With the advent of low cost, high quality and high brightness LEDs, NF Communcations, in its 25th anniversary year, has established itself as a keen player in the supply of full colour electronic video signs and scoreboards.
